A lovely etching of a very nice castle walls and moat scene c. 1920′s by the talented artist/etcher Margaret Aulton. stained around margin areas and browing to the picture still retaining fair colouring, one small water stain to picture. The not so perfect quality of this etching reflects in the lower price asked. Signed in pencil in the margin and has her usual monogram on the plate. Comes with out mount and will be sent in a postal tube.

A nice charming coloured etching, c. 1920′s by the talented artist Margaret Aulton featuring sea front houses in a continental scene, nice colours and an expertly done etching. Signed in pencil in margin and has her usual monogram on the plate. There is browning to the edge where a previous mount has been but the picture area is clear and all ok. Fred Slocombe, Horse and Cart in Country Lane

A fine 19th century etching signed by Frederick Slocombe showing a horse and cart being led along a country lane through a wooded area.  Frederick Albert Slocombe b. 1847 came from a family of etchers and artists well known in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s.  Frederick Slocombe was also a highly successful painter of landscape and rustic genre, exhibiting  widely at The Royal Academy and elsewhere for over 50 years. His signed etchings are rare and desirable amongst collectors.  This is a fine example of his work and is in very good condition, it comes mounted and framed in a period style ebonised frame which measures;  575ml. w.  x  750ml. h.,  the size of the print area is; 330ml. w.  x  470ml.  h.   See Payment Options.      (K)040112
