Patrick Nasmyth Oil Painting on Oak Panel

A Patrick Nasmyth oil painting on oak panel, circa: 1810-1830. Signed P. Nasmyth to the left side at the bottom, thought to be a scene near Woburn, Bedfordshire, an area where he painted some of his landscapes. In overall good condition but showing 3 minute/small sports where paint is chipped/missing, more photos can be provided by email if requested.  The painting may have been professionally cleaned sometime in the past, which would explain the nice condition. Measurements: Frame, 360mm. w.  x  280mm. h. Board: 260mm. w.  x  180mm.  h. All measurements approx. Bears a Signature, Edward Seago???

This is a detailed sketch of War Time Bomb Damage, not sure where. It also bears a signature, Edward Seago.  There is no authentication of this signature so this little sketch is being sold as it is, a water colour bearing a signature Edward Seago and there are no implications made to say it is by this artist.  This picture certainly looks its age and appears like it could have been sketched  very quickly in war time conditions.  It has some age related fading and marks, plus rippling to the paper,(as shown in picture).   This is an interesting little sketch worthy of more research. measurements are: 250mm. h.  x  200mm. w.  approx.

Gudrun Sibbons, harvest Time scene

A wonderful Oil Painting on canvas by Barbara Gudrun Sibbons of a Summer harvest scene. Excellently painted and in very nice condition. Comes in a nice gilt frame which measures; 65cm wide x 54cm high, approx.
GUDRUN SIBBONS was born in 1925 in Annaberg in Silesia, Germany. Her studies took her to Berlin, Breslau and Hamburg, when WWII intervened and during this period, she served as a nurse. After the war, she was working as a secretary, when she met her future husband Bill Sibbons, a professional portrait painter. They moved to London and married in 1949. She worked as a laboratory assistant, whilst painting as a hobby.
She started selling her paintings on the Hyde Park railings in the 1950s and, after selling paintings to such famous people as David Niven and Erroll Flynn, became an instant success and her paintings have attracted much interest and high prices ever since. She now lives on the south coast.

Mounted, framed and glazed in gilt and brown frame measuring approx. 300ml. w.  x  255ml. h. frame has a small amount of wear but still good, the water colour painting is in really nice condition retaining clarity and a degree of brightness still. measurement of the actual picture is unkown due to it being in a mount.
