18th c. Engraving

A view inside the Court of the Priests in Solomon’s Temple with the manner of the preparing and offering of sacrifices according to the Vision of the Prophet Ezekiel. This is a Hand Coloured Engraving having fine impression with early hand colouring and a full margin. Thought to have been printed for Robert Sayer at The Golden Buck opposite Fetter Lane, Fleet Street. circa 1760. A wonderful Clive Madgwick monochrome water colour painting of an East Anglian Thatched Cottage, signed and dated 1970. Edward Robert Smythe (1810-1899) Pastel and chalk, an oval ‘ Tranquility ‘ portrait of a seated lady Labelled under and with label verso stating ‘ Purchased from Guildhall Gallery, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk’ Bears a slightly indistinct signature and 1855 date mid right. A superb 19th century French School oil on canvas Portrait Painting of a young girl. Set in a gold gilt frame, that has odd marks in places but generally good, picture still retains good colour but has slight crackling. Painting is thought to have been painted around 1850′s-1870′s. This is a wonderful little water colour painting of Mousehole Harbour, Cornwall, painted by Thomas Herbert Victor, born 1894 and died 1980.  A small painting measuring just, 183mm. w.  x   110mm. h.
